"VISIT TO MONGOLIA" PROGRAM

Objectives:

• To involve students in the fight against global warming, desertification, and land degradation

• To launch initiatives against desertification through students

• To determine optimal policies based on the sustainable use of specially protected areas and biodiversity

• To build a social community network for youth

• To develop leadership among students and youth

• To bring the voice of youth to the Climate Change Conference (COP-17)

Conference implementation period: July 2026 27-31

Activities:

• To conduct on-site visits to desertification-affected areas /Tuv, Dundgovi aimag/

• To participate in events against desertification and land degradation /To plant trees/

• To participate in international student youth conferences /International experiences, Brain storm/

• To compile and issue an appeal for youth proposals /To submit to the COP-17 conference/

• To create an international student youth partnership in their free time /International youth COP partnership/

Included in the cost for international students (5 days: July 27-31): $450

• Airport pick-up and drop-off

Mongolian student

Included in the cost for Mongolian students (2 days: July 28-29): 550,000₮

• 3 meals a day (multi-ethnic cuisine)

• Event costs (transportation costs, personal visit to the desert, participation in tree planting)
